A Breath After The Cheers!

Sometimes the sky gives you something beautiful, something interesting - a moment to reminisce on, even if it's only for a few minutes.

Some moments or days stay etched in one's memory. Yesterday was one of those days.

We had a double, rather triple celebrations at the church. A couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, and the husband turned 70. Then, a choir member celebrated her 70th birthday.

Two families, triple celebrations! Decades of things sticking around, not fading.

The Mass was lively. The choir sang beautiful songs, lifting everyone's spirits. There was joy in the church. You could feel it even from outside.

When it was time, the couple renewed their vows to cheers and congratulations. Family members, friends and well-wishers were there to celebrate with them and give thanks to God.

This kind of celebration isn't what you see every day, so it was truly a blessing to witness it.

There's even more!

After Mass, I walked outside and saw that sky: wide open, calm, with big soft clouds that looked solid but light, rolling across the blue, moving like they weren't in a hurry.

"Could this be nature telling me something?" I asked no one but myself.

Back in the church, it was all about celebration... of endurance and a memory holding firm. Now, outside, sits a bright sky with soft clouds that felt like a pause. No storm, no rush. Just calm. It felt like the day was giving a breath after all the celebration. The weather, too, was neither hot nor cold. Just the kind of afternoon you get on beautiful days like this.

It felt like the day was saying this moment counts too.

This is it! A gentle reminder to hold onto the moment you're in before it slips into the blur of everything else.
