Finding beauty in the shades of Grey:# Monomad challenge.
The photos are my entry to #monomad contest from @monochromes an @brumest.
I took these photographs around my surroundings, and looking at them in black and white made me notice details I might normally overlook, the tall, slender trees standing , the different shapes of the rooftops, the quiet streets, the cloudy sky, and the beautiful contrast between nature and the buildings around it.

Without colour competing for attention, the textures and patterns seem to speak louder.
The trees especially caught my attention. Their height and shape create such an interesting frame around the houses. In some of the pictures, they almost look like they are guarding the neighbourhood. 😄

Some of the photograph gives a wider view of the community, with its mixture of modern-looking houses, unfinished buildings, old corrugated roofs and everyday surroundings. To me, that is part of the beauty of photography; capturing life as it really is, not necessarily as it is meant to look in a magazine.

These are simple scenes from everyday life, but through a black and white lens, they feel like little stories.
