Arriving at the "Grand Palace Hotel" in Bangkok - Having a Welcome Drink - Singha Beer

After approximately a 45-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, we were curious to see how straightforward the check-in process would be. The rooms, while not particularly outstanding, were clean and cozy, which was comforting after a long journey. The check-in process turned out to be hassle-free. We were required to leave a 2,000 Baht deposit, a practice I was already familiar with from my 2019 visit, although back then I had used a credit card for the deposit. Once settled, I was eager to show @rivalzzz the pool area, a spot I fondly remembered. We treated ourselves to a Singha beer at the bar—the first of many during our vacation—and took in the breathtaking Bangkok skyline. It was a moment of relaxation and appreciation, marking the beginning of what promised to be an unforgettable stay, as we basked in the ambiance of the city's vibrant energy and the tranquil oasis of the hotel's pool area.
