Coffee is my faithful companion on my adventures, and this year I decided from the outset that I was going to enjoy every cup with the love it deserves, without regrets, without feeling guilty, and without even thinking that it's “unnecessary” to fix every problem or bad day with a delicious sip of coffee.

I've tried many types of coffee at this point, and I've also learned to differentiate between those I like and those I don't like so much. These have been pleasant discoveries, to be honest, and I get excited like a little girl every time I know I'm going to try a new coffee for the first time, because there are so many ways to serve coffee throughout the world. 😂 That's why I think I've been indulging my palate lately and also expanding my general knowledge. 🥰

Today I'll tell you about my first time trying the famous affogato coffee, which, it's worth mentioning, combines the two things I love most in the world, coffee and ice cream 😍 both in the same cup. Ever since I discovered this type of coffee, it quickly piqued my curiosity, so I didn't hesitate to give it a try.

As always, I headed to my favorite coffee shop, Amarelo Café ☕🫶🏾, with my two friends who always support me in everything I do. For my part, I had already started researching affogato coffee and learned about its history. It turns out that it is an Italian coffee recipe based on a shot of espresso combined with a scoop of ice cream, usually vanilla, and the word “affogato” translates into Italian as “drowned,” so basically, it is a scoop of ice cream drowned in coffee, But it combines the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. 😍

To be honest, the flavor is exquisite. Here at Amarelo, they put a little whipped cream on top, and I particularly recommend mixing everything together and then drinking it. You won't regret it. ☺️ Without a doubt, once again, a cup of coffee made my afternoon more enjoyable, and I think that's what we all need after a long and stressful day at work. My rating for this coffee is 10/10. I never thought I could combine coffee and ice cream (which are my favorites) in one thing and have it be this fantastic. Have you tried this type of coffee?
