Anyways, insects are everywhere and that's a fact. Everywhere you look, you'll find an insect.

Started my journey to capture a photo of an insect, and found this.

Oooppsss, there's no insect yet. Just a beautiful flower hehe😁 I also got these:

These are millipedes, and when I searched about them, I really thought they were insects. Unfortunately, they aren't, instead, according to what I have researched, millipedes are not actually insects, but are arthropods related to insects.

So, I had to look for others. After thinking through, there are many insect such as ants, flies, bugs, and more. I have my goal now, then need to find them.

Here is what I got,

Ants, they're kind of bigger ants than the once I always see at home.

I googled them, and I found this article, https://www.rentokil.com/ph/ants/species/ . An article about the common ants found on the Philippines.

Looking at the images in the article, I think the name of the one I captured a photo with, the closest of them are the:

What do you think guys? I think it is the Weaver Ant "Hantik" as according to its description, their ideal nesting locations are outside including trees - in trunks or galleries that might have once been created by termites, under loose bark or plant debris, nearer the home in attics, under roof shingles, in wall voids, along fences and in outdoor furniture.

This video, I found on YouTube, confirms that what I found is really a Weaver Ants.

Man, they are savages in the wild. 😱

Anyways, that is all for my entry for this week's Henthusiast, Bring Me Challenge. I hope you guys had fun reading my post.

one simple thing to do to know what they are, let them bite you , if you can still walk it's a weaver, hehe , kiddin.

Weavers are more common in the Ph so I think it's them.
