On The Way to The Cemetery for Mr Adu Burial
Good morning ladies and gentlemen of this noble drone family. I must first of all thank everyone of you for the kind of support you have given me since I joined this noble community. I appreciate it a lot.
I'm doing my best to continue to post content that are useful and relevant to this great community.

In my last post I brought in a video and some pictures of a funeral of one of the noble people we had in our community Beposo. When the traditional rites had been completed it was time for Mr Adu to be sent to the cemetery for burial.

In today's post I bring you pictures and a 1-minute video of how his body was sent to the town's cemetery for burial. In fact it was a sorrowful moment to see a man who has contributed so much to our community being carried away to the cemetery.
I believe this one too you enjoy it. It is unfortunate that I could not provide you with any sound bite to make the video a complete one.
I once again thank everyone for the support and wish you all a very great weekend.
Thank you for your attention.

Interesting to see them walking him down the path. We don't see much manual carrying of caskets anymore here, mostly rolling on stretchers. I know that the act of burying gives some folks closure (or that's what they've been conditioned to). However, I find the act of burying to be past it's time. Do we really want our last visions of a person to be that in a coffin? Do we really want all these dead bodies and bones rotting away in our fields? This has become more problematic in the more populated areas. More a fan of nice pictures of the person in life as memory and then cremation or even a nice Viking funeral pyre myself.
Is true, manual carrying does not exist anymore but where the final funeral rites was held is 200meters away from the cemetery.
Cremation is good but don't think we are used to that. Think we have to join heads and set up a Cremation center in Accra so we begin one o e here
Thank for your comments 🙏
