Congratulations to all the finalists and to all who placed in the top spots. It was not easy sorting these. So many great pieces.

Round 176 has now ended and the artworks will go to the curator @shaka to find their place in the museum or gallery where they belong.

The placements come as a surprise to me, but this (due to the fact that the interpretation of art seems to be limitless) does not mean that disappointment can be read on my face.

@cetb2008 has created a collage that incorporates surrealism, the Greek and Egyptian past and modern elements, creating a completely new scenario.

On the other hand, @edgarafernandezp immerses himself in the world of the storytellers in every way, taking the viewer's focus far away from the original.

I find @bayuismail's realisation particularly successful. The collage really does manage to put its finger on a deep wound - our treatment of nature - while preserving the original.

The proud stag in @adncabrera's work, with its apparent serenity, is a suggestion of how carefree life could be if not for the constant threat of danger from humans.

In @suezoe's work, I'm left wondering if the celebration is meant to say goodbye or begin anew?
I would like to be more in favour of a new beginning.

My thanks, of course, to all the artists who took part in this round - especially as my secret favourites were just short of the laurel this time.

Runde 176 ist nun abgeschlossen und die Kunstwerke gehen in die Hände des Kunst-Kuratoren @shaka über, der den Platz im Museum oder der Galerie ausfindig machen wird.

Die Platzierungen kommen zwar überraschend für mich, was jedoch (geschuldet der Tatsache, dass die Interpretation der Kunst grenzenlos scheint) nicht bedeuten kann, dass Enttäuschung in meinem Gesicht abzulesen wäre.

@cetb2008 erschafft mit der Einbeziehung des Surrealismus, der griechischen und ägyptischen Vergangenheit, sowie neuzeitlichen Elementen eine Collage, die ein vollkommen neues Szenario erschafft.

Wo hingegen @edgarafernandezp in jeder Hinsicht in die Welt der Märchenerzähler eintaucht und damit den Fokus des Betrachters weit weg von der Vorlage lenkt.

Ausgesprochen gelungen finde ich die Umsetzung von @bayuismail, da es der Collage wahrhaftig gelingt (unter Beibehaltung der Vorlage) den Finger in eine tiefe Wunde zu legen – unser Umgang mit der Natur.

Der stolze Hirsch in @adncabrera Arbeit deutet mit seiner offenkundigen Gelassenheit an, wie sorglos ein Leben sein könnte, wenn nicht ständig Gefahr vom Menschen droht.

Bei @suezoe stellt sich mir die Frage, ob die Feier als Abgesang oder als Neuanfang zu verstehen ist?
Ich wäre eher für den Neuanfang.

Mein Dank geht selbstverständlich an alle Künstler, die sich in dieser Runde beteiligt haben – zumal meine heimlichen Favoriten dieses Mal am Lorbeerkranz knapp vorbeigeschlittert sind.
