(And multi-confessional) Anyone who has always wanted to visit an Arab state, but for some reason was afraid, can use Melilla as a comfortable sampler, where everyone speaks Spanish, and the native police protects from trouble. Spanish Catholics make up only 45% of the city's population, another 30% are Muslims from Morocco. There are also a thousand Jews and a hundred Indians. As a result, Melilla has become one of the smallest cities where there are temples of four confessions at once: a Catholic church, a mosque, a synagogue and a Hindu temple.

I had never heard of Melilla before. Beautiful city with a lot of history.
