Birthplace of Aphrodite, Cyprus
In Cyprus, I had a short layover. After going through all the formalities, there was about an hour left before the start of boarding. What does a normal person do in such a situation? Sits down to drink coffee in an airport cafe. What does the abnormal do? He takes a taxi and goes to the place where, according to legend, Aphrodite emerged from the foam of the sea. Paphos Airport is 17 km from Petra tou Romiou Bay.
