The little one ready to flee the nest, so quaint how it fluffs its feathers just like an adult bird, ready for take-off. I love watching them glide in the sky!
You are so blessed to see them so often down your way!
There's an amazing bird of prey centre in the Drakensberg, they rescue the birds, and also hold daily shows. It's amazing how the falconers interact with the birds!

Oh yes, the little one was watching its parents, and now already hunting for prey. I wouldn't want to be a field mouse with the Buzzards around !LOL
We also have one here, and it seems that all of the bird rescue centers follow the same rote of interacting with the falcons, as they do it here, and also at the bird center at the Montecasino in Johannesburg.
