You have a full time job there!!
And you have a nice problem with your beans, I wish I had the same. None of my french beans germinated, people say they're easy to grow, I don't know what I'm doing wrong 🥺. My sister gave me a couple of seedlings the other week, planted them out a couple of days ago and found both slugs and snails nibbling away at the leaves last night. Naturally, I had to get rid of both of them 🔪 (not the seedlings).

That is so true! I've been thinking recently if I should give that garden up or not. It's really a lot of work and time, but I still enjoy it. However, one day it might get unbearable and I won't have a choice.
Oh, this was happening to me all the time. Slugs love them and they always eat the 'heart', so the plant can't grow anymore. You can plant beans until end of June, so maybe try when it's dry and there are not that many slugs around. Or you can plant them again in August to have nice harvest in October 😊 They tend to germinate better in August because that's when slugs are not so active, because it's too hot for them.
