RE: The art of getting the right balance
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
the people walking in the distance and the chain fence throwing shadows on the path
That's my favourite as well. Because I know it's water on both sides, I always feel like people are walking on water which is a very special feeling
Or maybe you realize that in the moment the experience was captivating, but that's all it was, a moment.
That's how a lot of my drafts started, something came up and I wanted to talk about it. By the time I got round to write or finish the draft, it didn't matter anymore and the feeling had gone. At least I got to express it, even if not public, which is good, because like you say, it might not be interesting to everyone.
The biggest problem I have are travel posts which are my favourite genre. That's why I started blogging in the first place, to document all my travels before I go to lala land. I treasure all of my travels and want to do them justice which makes it even more difficult when you're not a natural writer.
Thanks for dropping by, and I'm glad there are still more "real people" on Hive than I thought☺️
There are a lot of us out here, at least enough of us--and we're holding on. I don't understand the finances of this place. I'm here for the people 🌞
