Morning of sun and peace, some of the plants, flowers and their textures [ENG-ESP] Mañana de sol y de paz, algunas plantas flores y sus texturas
Autumn is arriving with more shape, cool mornings, sunshine and I've been back out in the yard, seeing the plants again, the mess that happens in nature when you let it be, and I've allowed myself to be surprised by the passage of time. Let's see, we are always aware of this, but in a constructive way. Yesterday won't come back, but we don't register everything that is changing. Almost 3 months without seeing these plants brings back the magic and the surprise. I always choose to photograph those that have more rare textures. To investigate their shapes, colors and also sometimes to draw some plants. In the end it all comes down to exercise, to investigate and learn. Some cacti, some small plants with a strange green color, some leaves that grow "downwards" and their velvet-like texture. There is also the violet plant with little yellow flowers, whenever it blooms it decorates a lot the patio, which in general only looks green and untidy, because that's how we are here and we let everything grow a little wild.
Someone once said that the native plants, the ones that proliferate and grow, are the ones that should be left and made to grow. This allows us to strive for the plants that need more care, that are not native to the place, but also for those that are native to find their place. Thus we have seen butterflies of all sizes and colors, fluttering around the garden. We have also seen small iguanitas and birds such as hummingbirds and thrushes (the latter make their nests directly in the tree in the patio) and of course, as nature dictates, we have also seen ants disassemble a whole lemon tree. Things that happen.
It fills me with energy and joy. It is good for me to renew my energy here, to rest and rest my mind, to let my imagination go towards art, drawing and the inspiration I find in the colors and being in the sun for a while. I hope you all have a nice day and that the photos are to your liking.
El otoño va llegando con más forma, mañanas frescas, solcito y yo he vuelto a salir al patio, volver a ver las plantas, el lío que ocurre en la naturaleza cuando la dejas ser, y me he permitido sorprenderme del paso del tiempo. A ver, siempre somos conscientes de esto, pero de manera constructiva. El día de ayer no volverá, pero no registramos todo lo que va cambiando. Casi 3 meses sin ver estas plantas me devuelve la magia y la sorpresa. Siempre elijo fotografiar las que más texturas raras tienen. Indagar en sus formas, colores y también a veces a dibujar algunas plantas. Al final todo se resume al ejercicio, a indagar y conocer. Algunos cactus, alguna plantita de color verde raro, algunas hojas que crecen “hacia abajo” y su textura como de terciopelo. Tambien está la planta de color violeta con florcitas amarillas, siempre que florece decora mucho el patio, que en general solo se ve verde y desprolijo, porque así somos aqui y dejamos todo crecer un poco salvaje.
Alguien ha dicho alguna vez que las plantas autóctonas, las que proliferan y crecen, son las que hay que dejar y hacer crecer. Esto nos permite esforzarnos por las plantas que necesitan más cuidado, que no son oriundas del lugar, pero también que las que sí son oriundas encuentren su lugar. Así hemos visto mariposas de todos los tamaños y colores, revoloteando el jardín. También se ven las pequeñas iguanitas y pajaritos como colibríes o zorzales (estos últimos directamente hacen sus nidos en el árbol del patio) y claro, como la naturaleza manda, también hemos visto hormigas desarmar un árbol de limón íntegro. Cosas que pasan.
Me llena de energía y alegría. Me sirve renovar mi energía aquí, descansar y reposar la mente, dejar ir la imaginación hacia el arte, el dibujo y la inspiración que encuentro en los colores y en estar un rato al sol. Espero que todos tengan un buen día y que las fotos sean de su agrado.
