When God Sends Me a Coffee Machine ☕️the Fun Begins!
Sis, do you need a coffee machine??

This was last Saturday over a week ago when my good friend and sister messaged me as she was doing early "Spring cleaning".
Immediately, my heart leaped😳I have been looking out for Coffee Machines for a long time, after countless handheld espressos got stuck due to too high pressure and not suitable for daily use.
Every single time when I tried to shop for one, I eventually backed off because of its price. Furthermore I was trying not to get a capsuled machine because it is expensive...
Until this model came on my message inbox!
Immediately I searched through the web to see if there are compatible reusable pods so that I do not need to waste more money, and true enough, though this is the first generation coffee machine that allows cold press, it has reusable pods (but not adapters), and I am fully invested with my immediate response of receiving this from my dear sister in Christ with gladness!
Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4
This Psalms has come to life once again this year!

Knowing my capacity of affordability while waiting for the reusable pod to arrive (thanks to online shopping), I stumbled across this "mix and match" site for coffee pods of this model, the Dolce Gusto pods. Instead of wasting money purchasing the entire box of capsules, I get to try out the different flavours that I am curious upon.

Grande Intenso was the first pod I tried, and boy! The whole pantry was filled with coffee fragrance! It's like back in the barista corner once again! 🥰
My colleagues are curious how it is made, but they are waiting for "free sampling" 😅unfortunately, I couldn't afford to get all of them. Maybe I should give them each one pod as Christmas present?

As a Chinese Idiom saying, "the quality comes with its price tag", just MYR 1 difference speaks a lot. The Nescafe version of Coffee Latte and the Starbucks version of Coffee Latte has a HUGE difference.
I tried both with the same water capacity, and the left turned watery while the right is much creamier.
No wonder so many people preferred to pay a little more for the starbucks.
But guess what??
Both capsules are actually INSTANT COFFEE.
It's not like there's coffee grind inside with milk, or the separate versions of Cappuccino or Macchiato. The Nestle version of Latte is definitely a no go.
(Quite a disappointment. I might as well stuff my favourite instant coffee into the capsule and get it out nicely with good crema effect)
I guess brands does make a difference, and now I kind of know why a lot preferred Nespresso because the pressure bar is higher if not mistaken, with more compressed capsule, resulting less coffee wastage.
Thanks be to God Who has blessed me this through the hands of my sister in Christ. I can say nothing but gratefulness and thanksgiving, and I will look forward to try out using re-usable pods for normal coffee grinds as I was also blessed with a bag of grind coffee which I occasionally uses it through French press, but it still isn't as satisfactory as a fresh cup of espresso / Americano (which I learn to love and appreciate)
Until Then
Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
