Walk around Westgate COCOA BEACH PIER ~ Florida US 🇺🇸

Today’s selection will be of 19 photographs, where I take you along on a visit to the #pier of Westgate COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA United States 🇺🇸
We visited it 28 September 2018 during a 2 week holiday around Florida.

The Photographs in this post are taken with my ‘late’ Canon eos 550D with 18 - 135 mm lens 📸 in the evening.

I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are walking along with me 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 and see the surroundings through my eyes. 😊

Yes it’s close to the Kennedy Space Centre 😉 which I show you another time.

Let me show you around now.

After parking the car we walk towards the pier.

We see these poles/signs… I just love them and always when I see one of these I photograph it.
What do you think? Do you take photos of them?

You can see it is already late in the evening and the sun is going down slowly 😊 let’s go further…

While walking on the pier we have these views towards the right.

Crossing into the water… 🌊🌊

Towards the left side of the pier. Beautiful clouds in the distance 😎 the beach front is not to overcrowded by buildings.

Half way on the pier we stop and stand next to this balustrade and look out… let’s enjoy the view for some moments 😊

We do so for a little while.

The sky has some soft and bright colours in the distance. See the area that is lid up 😎

Next to us a few fisherman were walking hip deep in the water to catch some fish 🎣 Interesting to see that they went in so deep. 🤓

And another photo of the pretty clouds that are lid up 🥰 had to be added.

We walk back now over the pier and see a heron searching for fish 🐟 at the beach.

A view towards the right side of the beach, I edited the colour range here to give it a more classic vibe 😎 but not fully sepia yet.

Beautiful reportage with wonderful photos, I loved your black and white version of the pier, also hou the editing you did of the edge of the beach with a layer of faint faded and warm sepia.. what a photo!..... I love being "subscribed" to the @littlebee4 's magazine. he he he :))

Fun photos. I visited Coco Beach many, many years ago. I'm a sucker for the directional/"miles to..." signs too 😊 I agree on the black and white pic. Classic look. Timeless.

I visited Cocoa beach maybe 20 or more years ago, and loved it, I wasnt into photography at that period but loved checking it out

I love those direction sign post thingies and yes if I see one I always take a photo :)

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

Lovely walk and beautiful view! I love the beach so much so I enjoyed the post.
Playing around with different colors esp B&W was a great one, I like it so much!
I didn't know the bird's species is called Heron. I have forgotten to memorize them all so it was good to know. LOL

I love the beach too. It is so refreshing walking along it. And the views we have sometimes. Lovely.
This was an area that stood out to me from the Florida trip. It wasn’t to busy either, so that was great.

Also that @wittyzell I was more referring to, that Florida is a popular holiday destination and all the snowbirds come down in the winter months. (People that live up north where there is too much snow, stay in the winter months in sunny and warm Florida)
This area isn’t on their list much. Most are more south in Florida or higher up. 😎

Yes, it would be the perfect place to be by yourself and just be, watch the world go by…
