You must think… finally… Littlebee4 posted again, where has she been the last weeks?
Let me tell you 😎
I have been tiling terracotta handmade, all different sizes and thicknesses, hexagon tiles for the last 2 weeks. What included a 2 days drive on each side of the 2 weeks to get there and back. 🚗🚗 So I had not the full 2 weeks to work.
I’m back in Scotland now, and no… I have no time to rest… hahaha 😜 I will be finishing packing up our belongings for next week, when we start our next country 🌍 move 📦🚛 😉

The only day I had off (no tiling work) I went for a longggg walk ~ 7,3 km.
And today I want to share this beautiful walk with you all. It was around RSPB FRAMPTON MARSH NATURE RESERVE, located close to BOSTON, the LINCOLNSHIRE shore in the #UK 🇬🇧

The Photographs in this post are all taken with my iPhone 📱🤓 I thought I wouldn’t go out at all so I didn’t bring my camera 📷
I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are walking along with me on this #walk, to 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 #discover everything what I saw, like the little #details seen through my eyes and the stunning #scenery and #wildlife. 😊

Let’s start our WALK now:
Are you coming along? 😉😊

After parking the car we see the following sign:

Looking around the area, we see reeds and some ducks.

The views…

We start our day with a grey sky, this will change during our walk and goes from grey, cloudy to bright blue and everything in between 😎

Next to the path we follow we see the following vegetation.

Some dried out thistles. They are cool to paint 🎨 in a #landscape painting and of course taken as a photograph.

Looking back at the path we follow… 🤓

As spring just started in the UK we find blossoms on the trees 🌸🌸🌸🌸

How can I not share them with you 🥰

Looking out over the water we see in the distance a hide. This is a small building you can go into and observe the wildlife and birds around you trough small windows you can open. 😎 It has benches in it to sit at those windows.

Walking further we see this. It is enormous and out of iron / concrete and has some nice artwork painted on it. Let me show you 😊

It even has a highland cow 🐮 on it 🥰🥰🥰

Very cool 😎

Next to me I notice little droplets 💧 on the ends of the grasses and capture them 🤓

Looking back at the path we walked ☀️

And the views around us. It is soooo peaceful here, just what I needed after the work I have been doing for the tiling. A welcome rest in the middle indeed 😉

Talking about breaks, there are picnic tables and benches all around this area to sit for a little while 😊

When we walked to one of the hides to check out what we could see… the fence on the side had these look outs in them… 😎 I liked the framed picture 🥰 do you?

Inside the hide we look over the water, some birds just flew away…

I follow them to take a few more photographs. 📸 Love their #reflections in the water.

Leaving the building we see on the other side a pair of swans 🦢 🦢

So many birds are around this area, one can hear only birds…

Let’s walk further along the path.
Suddenly next to us we see this goose.

And in the distance an artwork. Let’s check it out 🤓

One side has “mirrors”, flowing along……… with birds etched in them.

The other side looks like this:

In front of this #artwork, some geese are standing on the path.

Just when I wanted to walk further… I see a #bee 🐝 land on this dandelion 🌼

Aaawwwww I #love ❤️ #bees 🐝🐝🐝🐝 but you can imagine that for yourself I think 😉

Good… ☺️let’s walk a bit further…

More blossoms in the trees next to us. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

And some more geese wandering by, or are we wandering by… I think both 🤓

We walk up some steps and reach the highest part.

Now we have a view much further away and on top of the nature reserve 😊 one can see for milessssssss

Stunning isn’t it?
If you would walk this direction to the end, you reach the sea 🌊 that isn’t that far away.

Looking in the direction we have been coming from, the walking paths… you see the wetlands and reeds.

More spring flowers… yep… don’t forget about #alwaysaflower 🥰

Some large cows or even oxen… I can’t really tell from this far away. 🤓🐮

As we walk further… we go around this area to the left. The view:

Zooming in a bit you see how many birds are present in the distance. Mainly waders… 😎

More #spring blooms along the path. The #sky is looking so good right now ☺️

Next to the visitor centre… where we had some lunch.

Through the window…

Walking back to the car I spot this bird in flight 🤓

Yep, been wondering too. 😄 It must be a busy week but glad you had this vast area to have a break and walk with wonderful nature around. The place really look stunning. The last weeks have been crazy busy indeed.
I loved walking in this nature reserve… it was needed to recharge. Loved seeing so much birds and open areas of just nature. It makes me happy I could share this walk with you 😊

Spring is my favorite season of the year. Everything feels fresh and it feels like a new beginning in many aspects.

If you mean the tiling job to be the new place of residence, it is not.
I was tiling at the in-laws. We will move countries and leave the UK in a few weeks.
It’s sad to leave Scotland after only have lived here 3 months. But… new adventures await us 😉

I never was this busy… although in a very long time.
Normally I can focus on packing and moving, now I had the tiling at the in-laws in between. Just wrong timing I guess. But we didn’t plan to be moving again either hehehe 🤭
Such is live. Soon it’s all over and we have moved.
Wednesday movers come for pick up, then I go back to the in-laws for a week to finish a few more jobs for them. The 6th we have an overnight ferry ⛴️ and the 7th we arrive at our new country of residence. It will be fun.

It is indeed very complicated. First as a cross border worker and now being refused. Brexit will create a lot of hassle for years to come.

A new plan is in place already. We rented a house unseen and I will move in 7 May. A country I have never been to. But… it is as beautiful as the west of Scotland. A lot is the same there. Also the raw nature. So don’t worry… more cool adventures will come for sure.

I just re-read the title and realised I was also there, not far from Boston, visiting my friend in Conningsby at Easter. For a moment we were very close, if I knew, we could meet up for a coffee 😍

This is stunning Jackie, it is nice that you made time to go for a walk which is much needed and should be refreshing following the busy tiling and traveling.

I am loving the Iron metal structure which is some nice artwork done there, Springs look beautiful over there as the flowers bloom. I like daisy flowers so it is nice seeing them in your post.

It looks generally calm and beautiful out there, my internet connection is acting up very slowly here I can see 80% of the photos, and the rest just won't load.

So peaceful. Beautiful weather too and much wildlife around to see.

Spring is my favourite season and I try to capture as much as possible from it.
That’s cute you like the Daisy flowers. I remember making necklaces from them when I was a kid… or a crown in the hair.

Haven’t found the time yet Joe…
I did manage to get all packed and wrapped. The movers picked everything up yesterday. Today is cleaning this house. I put the furniture back yesterday.
Tomorrow morning we drive over 2 days to the in-laws again for some more tiling hahaha 🤣 before the real move.
So I leave Scotland and this house tomorrow… it’s sad somehow. But a new start, again !LOL

I haven’t been able to post a post this week.
Busy with the move. I finished packing yesterday and the movers picked everything up. Today it’s cleaning of the rental house and tomorrow we drive the the in-laws (over 2 days) to tile a bit more for a week… than 6 May I will move countries. So busy times.
