Pilgrim Bulldog or Morgan? Have a look at what I found last weekend in the port.

Last Sunday I went for a walk around in the new area I recently moved to.
I already posted part of that walk Here!
When I was in the port I saw this ”CLASSIC BEAUTY” and wanted to share it with you all. 🥰😎
As some know, I love classic cars and had myself 4 classic minis 😊🤩 that I repaired myself and restored 🔧🔩🧰
But I am a little confused as what it is. 🧐
The front says it is a MORGAN and the back says BULLDOG
So it is one of those… not both hehehe 🤭
Either a MORGAN 1.8 classic car or a PILGRIM BULLDOG. What do you think?
I think it is a kit car : Pilgrim Bulldog 1.8 based on the Morgan 🤓 not that old either… so is it a classic car than… 🤔 nope… 😋

That's a beautiful car, here in Cuba my country you can find a lot of classic cars and sometime the people mix them too , like different part from others car , but they keep the outside original.

Just recently been on a car show in Germany. These are definitely Morgans, not sure what car it is on your photo.

That’s cool… I know, we just moved the beginning of the month. The market isn’t funny at all. Just crazy prices. We only found a rental for 10 month so need to move one day again. Either when we move abroad (when that comes first) or the end of June… sigh 😔
We are still planning our big move, but still dealing with delays, changes etc. (company move)
We are on the Spanish side… close to Gibraltar.
Lovely photos of this beautiful classic car @littlebee4 friend... Hummm... I know very little about cars, but I have read that Pilgrim mounted their kits on Morgan chassis back in the mid 70's.... I also think they did it based on some MG's... Anyway, it's a beautiful car, very well photographed.... That first photo is worthy of a cover!.... Thank you very much for sharing! ;-)

This one was a kit car and only inspired by Morgan. Not even old, but still it was beautiful to see it in the port. 😎🤩

Shipped to Bremerhaven, picked it up there and drove to Stuttgart! Crafty Germans, they have (had?) A inspection, tax, and everything right at the port!

It was wonderful up there. Loved the nature… wandering the trails along rivers, seeing waterfalls. Experience the cooler weather. Just great. It is everything Spain isn’t for us.
We still haven’t had more news from the job… sigh…
But are still hopeful that it will happen. We would fit in just right. Loved the empty roads and not much people around.

That is exactly it. The rich do make it them selves comfortable. And escape when needed… travel the world and be worry less. It’s a whole different world.
Hope he hears something today /tomorrow on the job front. We did hear that everybody else has been given a new spot/role in the new merger (company) except him (all 52 of them). As he was the only one that preferred the US. So we know all his paperwork has been send to the right person in the US a week ago. He said he would contact hubby. But hasn’t. Hubby kept an eye on his email while we were away… we know it is a holiday today in the US. So won’t hear anything today… let it be tomorrow.
Those new changes and take overs are just in the way of what was said last year. New paths to follow now. But there is still a way. They still have that role open… hubby would fit perfectly in.

Put enough coffee in there so you know it's not water, but otherwise it could be the cheapest tea in the world - recycled! My roommate makes coffee ☕, she gets the water "tan"... Then asks "how did you like your coffee"? Naaaa!
(*Here they rebuilt the floor again, and extended what was done before so.. they finished today after 8 days with 1 day off, tomorrow is finishing clean-up. I meantion this just because between people running around and noise, things have been difficult - concentration.. 😬✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻😬

Most of the lakes we visited, or just passed by had those signs. And the village we liked the most before we went, we were put off by the signs in peoples garden saying. Brown water is not ok. Babies are bathing in brown water. And it is not ok for brown water to come out of the taps…. Stuff like that.
So that is worrisome.
So maybe higher up where you find mountain streams it’s better.
That’s a shame to hear.
That’s just plain horrible those cups of coffee… I’m not even asking for a new one. I won’t drink it. It’s horrible. Let there be nice coffee. And cappuccinos 😉😎🤞🏻

Yeah it's a funny thing.. When I was young I would listen to them (I always preferred the company of the oldest around in any situation) my grandparents, Great grandparents, etc.. in the Res - and wonder if they were sometimes just old and having memory problems.. Now I am not so sure...🤔
That's it and You know - as bad or whatever it has been I am kinda cool with it. Yeah, a lot of crap - not just here the whole thing really - a few good spots, but... Had things been all rosey in any kind of way I would have gone with it, and "not" have been the "me" I am now, so I am OK, Now is Now and that's what counts.. He he he - "what happens after now".😉🤓😎

That's another amazing thing (to me). We have both been "promised the same thing (sort of)" and have been waiting the same amount of time - approximately.. Kind of unusual, but I do get it. I also feel as I have been in hold since the day I submitted all my papers for the apartment. At first I thought it would be quick so I didn't do much.. Now so much time has gone by I have to do something - and I am..😉
Exactly that! Lots of Positivity going around and I see it like this... Maybe I am (possibly) supposed to win - but didn't play? I figure it may be slightly less of a gamble than normal - so why not? 🤓
You know, like I said here is probably the "easiest" place in the States to immigrate. (One day ask me about what happened to me because after 10 years of not being in the States Americas have to immigrate too..🤔).
Anyways... I know "Jurgen" was thrown out of Florida for "some reason".. He came here... After awhile they deported him back to Stuttgart... The German community "here" made such a "ruckus" the State "Texas" just "whitewashed" everything and brought him right back! 👀
This I couldn't believe myself except I saw it, and no South or Central American would get that treatment / unless very wealthy... None!
As I said, an easy port of entry, for Europeans.
Yeah, the water itself could possibly be better here. The mountain thing means run-off which after a few hundred years of humans cannot be good.. I can tell You from up there that it is a problem, I know...
Yeah the coffee thing is unbelievable here really. I think it is the same with all things though. Beer as well, other things too.. None of it is "full strength". I bought a "Ritter Sport" the other day, first in years - totally different than any U.S. chocolate. More flavor, U S. Stuff - more sugar..🤔
Yeah it has been disruptive, to say the least.
No it will not hold this time either, but maybe a few months instead of days! He is still gaining weight (daily). He is having real problems getting out of his car and climbing the stairs (6) to the door of the house. He is 32, so it's "game over" - for the floor as well. He has to live in an apartment on a concrete slab.

We can’t. To many other players involved, new companies, take overs… still no news today. But hubby contacted somebody and they said he should have heard back from the US end of last week. Now he needed to contact hr to see what is happening.
Somebody else said. Who is in Poland from his team. That he is negotiating to work for the US company but stays located in Poland as they have a branch there. He said they are truly slow at the moment.
So we are not the only ones waiting…
You could see it like that indeed, maybe you are supposed to win.

I did know that when you leave a country a certain amount of time you do need to immigrate. America too as are many other ones.

Yep, I know about differences… it all depends on what you buy. That is why I want a garden to provide for most things myself. It would be my dream.

Luckily I have some time again as our recent move did not allow me to walk much.
Friday we go on a well deserved holiday for 2 weeks… that means exploring all 🥰🤩 hehehe 🤭
