Mr. and Mrs. PUMPKIN 🎃 only wanted to be free and famous…

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL 🎃👻

Let me tell you today a story 📖 that happened the days just before Halloween 2024 📚
So grab a drink 🥃 make it yourself comfortable as we will start in a few moments 😊

Ok, here we go….. it’s #storytime!

As I was wandering through the mountains one day I noticed a lot of orange 🧡 “things” around me. Normally this current season gives me misty, cold, dark and sometimes even frozen days. Sunset is at 15:30h already…. 🌄 It truly feels like winter ☃️ for sure.
Seeing suddenly all this orange around me… made me wonder 💭 and I just had to check it out. Do I dare to get closer 🤔

Today’s selection will be of 25 PHOTOGRAPHS
Dates are: 27, 28 and 29 October 2024.
The Photographs in this post are all taken with my phone 📱🤓

🙂 Yes, it is drawing me in… I have to go and take a look… as I get closer and closer… I see this :

A mountain ⛰️ of orange and the biggest pumpkin I have ever seen 😳
Mr. Sunny Skeleton was at the top of it. Sitting on his throne, chilling out and feeling truly like a KING 🤴🏻
He ruled with a strong hand over his pumpkin’s kingdom. They just didn’t know where it was… and see me… I found it. Oh no!
Nobody dared to escape from it… his bodyguards the GHOST TWINS made sure of it 😈

Now I remember the stories my grand parents told me about his pumpkin kingdom. All were afraid and nobody managed ever to get out of there.

Do I hear something….? It is like somebody is crying 😭 softly.
I take a closer look without being seen myself.
Suddenly I see two pumpkins 🎃 close together, trying to hide from their king 👑 protecting each other. Just far enough away from him.

Their king isn’t even noticing them. He is having fun 🤩

I decide I walk by quickly…. To save them. Wouldn’t you… I could feel their pain.
As I come closer to the corner I will grab the two pumpkins 🎃 and walk quickly further without stopping. No looking back…. As this is now or never… I so hope the ghost 👻 twins will not notice me.

I am soooo small… they won’t see me, I think. I just have to save them.
Here I go 😬 cross your fingers 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes!

I managed to save the 2 pumpkins. I hold both tight in my arms and walk further… almost run. I am not looking back.
I walk and walk for hours until I reach my home up the mountains in the old forests 🌳 🌲 nobody from his kingdom can come here.

I sit down and gently place the pumpkins on my table.

They are so relieved to be safe. Away from Sunny Skeleton 💀
They thank me a thousand times…. For the first time in their lives they take a deep breath 😮‍💨 and relax.
We spend the entire evening talking about how the king reigns his kingdom. I know for sure I did the right thing by taking them with me. Away from it all.
In their stories 📖 they tell me their dreams 😃 and hopes. How they wished to be famous and have a life far away from their past.

I said; let’s go to sleep first and I will help you both tomorrow… I can make you famous if you want. Nobody will hurt you then and everybody out there will remember you for decades to come.
They smiled ☺️ at me and couldn’t get to sleep fast enough. 😴😴

In the morning I told them what I thought would be the best way to do so.
My plan, would mean I have to give them an own identity… their own face. So they could be recognised when they would be famous… like having their own spirit. They agreed with me.

For this I showed them some images… easily searchable on the Internet 🛜 through Mr. #google. After some searching they found their spirits.
They themselves picked the following : Source for Mr. Pumpkin see bottom left…
Source for Mrs. Pumpkin…

Mr. Pumpkin wanted to look very strong. So that if the king would ever find them, he could frighten him and scare away.
Mrs. Pumpkin is old school… she loved the movie 🎥 “Nightmare before Christmas” so she felt a strong pull to this story. How could I not listen to her. 😊

I had to ask the help of my husband to perform the delicate procedures. He wanted to help Mr. And Mrs. Pumpkin too, after I saved them and told him all about their adventures at home when they were fast asleep.

So here is hubby performing the procedure on Mr. Pumpkin 🎃

I take my time… gently I help Mrs. Pumpkin 🎃

We remove their caps….

Place them on the side for refitting later 🙂

First we have to empty all the dark memories from what they went through at Sunny’s kingdom…

Bit by bit they feel… almost “lighter”. All the bad experiences are fading away slowly, as I remove everything what I find. I catch all of the darkness in a large pan. These memories I will burry deep in our forest 🌳🌲 so the pumpkins will have happy thoughts from now onwards.

I scoop out every little bit… to make sure of this.

Slowly we start creating their requested images.

Mr. Pumpkin’s procedure 🎃 is finished first. Look at how happy and strong he looks 😁

I still take my time for Mrs. Pumpkin as she is very delicate herself.

After a while her procedure is also finished. She smiles from side to side 😊

As Mr. And Mrs. Pumpkin’s procedures took so long… I have to warm them up for a while.
So I carefully place a candle 🕯️ inside of them so they can warm up slowly.

As it is dark outside already they found each their spot to rest for the evening…. maybe they even fall asleep 😴 after they warmed up.
Mr. Pumpkin seems to fall asleep already.

Mrs. Pumpkin is still excited from it all and decides to just watch around for a while…

(For the observant viewer… the lettering cut out on the back of her makes for some interesting light display on the wall and cabinet)

I talk to her a little while, and I tell her the way I want to help them even more and make them quicker famous. I promise when the daylight arrives in the morning we go out and have a photoshoot. I will try to capture their spirits… show them to the #world 🗺️

As promised the next day, we decide to go out and have our photoshoot.

Look at her smile 😁 how comfortable she is in front of my camera… all her worries seem forgotten. Beautiful in every way 😉

Her side does look even better 😊 what a pretty lady she is, isn’t she?
(the towel inside is so you see the carvings on this side better as the pumpkins are carved on 2 sides)

Being a lady and as it is sooooo close to #HALLOWEEN she wanted to decorate herself a little bit more. See it like a #tattoo
Mrs. Pumpkin chose the following image as a Source of her lettering… modified to her liking

She wanted everybody to know: HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃👻☠️

Let’s give the spotlights to Mr. Pumpkin now.
Yep, still happy and STRONG 🎃

If ever someone evil would come close to him. He would scare them away and wanted the following “tattoo” lettering source

He looks so proud.

I found the perfect spot for Mr. And Mrs. Pumpkin to spend their lives together… looking out into the world.

Waiting for the neighbourhood kids to visit them as I told them… with Halloween they would go out in the evening and play a #game ”TRICK OR TREAT”
When the kids do this they will come and visit them too. They will become instantly famous as the kids will tell their parents and their parents will tell the world.

So Mr. And Mrs. Pumpkin are so ready for the kids to come by… not long anymore now.

It is already 19:00h on this 29 October 2024 😁
Soon they will come and their wishes come true.
