“Market Friday” ~ brunch in Paris ~ France 🇫🇷🌳🌴🌺 and a walk after…

Hi all 👋🏻

For my next post in our lovely community this Friday for the #MarketFriday by @dswigle - Denise.
I will show you my brunch and some highlights of a little walk around in the 10th Arr. / district of Paris ~ France.

These photographs are all taken with my #iPhone 5 July 2022 📱😎🤓
I will follow the time stamps on them. So you can walk with me a little while 💃🏻💃🏻 and experience it all…

Let’s start with our brunch before we head off for the walk. 😉


We get a nice corner table with a view out on the crossroad in front of us…

P'tite Bougnate Is the name if you are in the area one day.


As you can see we are not alone having a brunch… why brunch? It wasn’t morning anymore and not just lunch yet. So an in between time 🤓


Some nice decorations on the tables.

So what do you think I ordered?

Of course… a croissant 🥐 as we are in Paris, don’t skip on them… they are delicious 😋


And the observant “reader”… sees a cappuccino on the side 😉 I live on it hahaha 🤣 as some know…
We got butter and jam next to the croissant 🥐

After we finish our brunch… let’s walk around a bit. 😎


Close by is a park that we cross… as it is rather hot in this summer day, the shade of the trees 🌳 are welcoming 😊


Many people are enjoying a little break in this park.

The name and location of this park you find on Google maps by the yellow star ⭐️:

It’s Jardin Villemin.

We find cute corners and a large grass area people can sit down on also many benches are spread out over this park.

A little area that is designated to herbs and grapes and bee hives 🐝🐝🌼🌸🌺🌻🍇 and of course wild flowers to feed them 🥰

A little bit further we see these poles standing around.

Every so often we see a cold mist is spread out of them.

Of course we went through it to cool down… it was pretty nice. 😋🤩🌧

Than we saw a group of school children arrive. They started playing in the mist, running around and just having fun. Of course their clothes were wet in moments, but the high temperature and sun would help with that very soon. No photos of this of course 🤓

As we walk out of the other end of the park… we reach the canal. These are our views.

Those beautiful photos Jackie, I like the decorations of the restaurant very captivating to have a meal and relax lol, I have to be asked to leave for getting too comfortable long after my meal is finished.

I can't remember when last I had a croissant, now am wishing for it.

Yes, it is so large in Paris. They are everywhere and it is so easy to enjoy them. Meet people and just people watch. One of my favourite activities… and have delicious food and coffee 😎

Haha, I remember when I was there I ate every day croissant no matter which time. They taste amazing there. Hmmmmmm... Yummy. Bon appetite, les photos sont superbes. Was it right? A bit french i remember. Have a great evening my friend

Yes… nothing can beat a French croissant 🥐 they are soooo delicious.

Ah what a dream to sit outside of a Parisian cafe with viennoiserie and coffee plus a stroll down a beautiful garden! I miss lavender bushes and rosemary shrubs that pop up just about anywhere. Cold mist reminds me of the Middle East during hot summers. They help cool down.

That was a great day in Paris!!! P'tite Bougnate seems like a nice cafe!
And your walk around town is beautiful. Unlike the city where it is crowded, there was hardly anyone it the places you shown us. Ah... peace and quiet day... I need more of that!!!

It was a great trip to Paris and this was a lovely day. We had so much fun and saw so much.
Can you imagine it’s still the city itself. I think it is, that we tend to go the beaten paths… away from all the business and tourists. To truly experience a place 😉🥰

Thanks so much… yep, the nights were already 3 - 6 degrees. And some days cold, like today with rain and clouds… but you know what… I love it 🥰 the fresh air… the crispy ness of it all. It is wonderful to walk around. You can dress for the cold much better than for the heat.
We were walking a trail towards a waterfall and it rained… so got drenched. But loved it.
The road on the way back in the hills was steaming. Sooo cool to see. As it still got 18 degrees. Next days are colder. But no rain for a few days.
