First solo exhibition in Spain from Obey Giant and DFace 🇪🇸

Hi all 👋🏻

Today I want to take you along to view an exhibition from Obey Giant and DFace that took place 26 June 2015

If you are familiar with their works you know they paint StreetArt works / murals around the entire world and are well known. 😎🤩

It was their first solo exhibition in Spain 🇪🇸

Obey Giant ~ Shepard Fairey presents his works under the title: ”YOUR EYES HERE”
His website: Obey Giant!

D Face presents his works under the title: ”WASTED YOUTH”
His website: DFace!

The location was in the CAC Museum in Málaga/ El centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga
26 and 27 June 2015

I went with my best friend Sjef from the Netherlands, who was visiting me and another Dutch friend Astrid with her son Joeri who were living in Málaga at that time.
All photographs are taken with my old iPhone 5.

Shepard is one of my favourite artists so when I heard he came to Málaga with some works, I had to go and meet him. And I did 😎☺️
At that time I was still living in the beautiful old town of Málaga Spain 🇪🇸 So it was easy to go.

@heroldius… I know you appreciate me telling you I posted today the post about their exhibition together, as we talked about it and why you see mainly their work together in the streets 😎

Let’s have a look at the exhibition now.

First I show you the works of Obey Giant / Shepard Fairey:

In a hall way… I saw this work. I believe it was from somebody else.

Than Shepard Fairey walked around. People noticing…

Joeri took this photo from the back, me and my friends bottom left.

We waited for it to calm down a bit.
Here we see Shepard signing a little poster from him.

For me… 🥰 I have his signature 🤩 YAY!

We talked a little about art as Astrid, my friend who is here in the photo with Shepard is also an artist just like me. I took this photo of the two of them.

Nope I didn’t go with him on a photo, just to many people came… hehehe 🤭

To bad we didn’t have more time with him.

In another area the work of somebody else…

And standing on the bridge (that is closed now) next to the CAC museum that you see on the left in the picture. Many StreetArt works along the dry river…
