Hi all 👋🏻

As you all must have noticed, I have been on vacation for 2 plus weeks in the USA 🇺🇸😊 I arrived back in Ireland last weekend and today I want to start sharing with you all my StreetArt finds from there… while I was exploring 4 States in the New England region. Here you see “A very colourful mural from OKUDA” 🌈 that I just had to try to photograph as it would be my first one I found from him. Happy… 😁

I captured this #mural / #artwork on 20 October 2023 on a wall while driving to the airport ✈️ The Photographs in this post I took with my phone… 📱
I couldn’t stop at this road as the traffic was crazy and I had to catch a plane 🛫 hahaha 😂

As soon as I noticed something colourful next to me, I grabbed my phone and started clicking some photos in the hope to capture it all. 😉

Luckily I did 😊

Although through the moving car window, they came out well. 🤞🏻

There is so much detail to see in this mural from Okuda. The animals and figures are so cool.

You did well despite the moving car to capture such nices shots 📷, I like the unique style of the artist, more like prism kind of parts forming the painting.

In Panama there are a couple of murals around the city but havent had the time to take pics, looking at it I imagine how long it takes to paint it, how much it cost, if they had to prepare the wall, I once had to parepare a wall because paint ketp falling and thats not easy or fun to do, nicd pics ✌️

It is a lot of work. It all depends on the wall / surface.
I have painted quite some murals myself, inside houses, buildings and outside walls.
When the wall is damaged you first have to repair it. Like you did.
Depending on the mural you paint, you paint it in a base colour or not.
So much to think about.
I normally say to a client I work a week on a wall 4 x 3 meters.
