Where the West Wind Blows

Recently, it has been a conveyor belt of wrecked boats that show up on the beach. The wind usually blows towards this side of the coast, so it's the natural wreckage area for vessels that are in trouble and adrift in the ocean.

We haven't had any major rainstorms recently, but there was a wind storm that blew from the west. I remember thinking that the trees were swaying mightily the other day. But there was no rain! 🤔

It was a calm sunny day when I took the pictures. The sky was clear and waves were gently lapping on the shore. In the shimmering calm, the only sign of the storm passing was the litter of boats dotting the rocky beach.

It has been busy there recently. Unfortunately, the taxpayers get stuck with the bill for removing these marooned vessels. They look cool in the pictures though :D
