The Aesthetics of Destruction
This old tree fell across the path, and it was cut to clear the way. It looks like they will leave the remains so new life can take root. It also looks really cool in a west-coast kind of way.

You're right. To me, it looks like a dragon head resting on the ground facing the path. 😄
"Those who are so certain" say that pareidolia is a creation of the brain, an imagination. I'm not so sure about that, I think more of a communication between the membrane that separates us from the dimensions. There are "people" who can't even imagine such a thing as a dragon!
They just leave it there... well... new scenery!

Which plane is it from? .... impressive!
This is what they do in the forest, so the fallen trees become shelter and nutrients for other plants and animals. I saw a few other fallen trees, which they else left in place in creative ways.
That tree is a drágon.... what a great photo for a fantasy story!
