Stillness in the Season
Deeper in the woods, I was ready to head back because this was coyote territory, and I did not want to disturb them. Then peering through the leaves, I saw the open space- a grove! It's indescribable that feeling when you see the light filtering through the trees, illuminating the leaves with its bright beams as if it was the first day of creation then striking the bed of moss that has grown on the logs, and the ground littered with the remnants of the fall.
