Smooth Travels

I came across this place by accident, and unfortunately, the Museo de La Porcelana in Santo Domingo was closed, so I did not get to experience the mysteries therein. I do have images of the building Moorish facade and...

Apparently, this museum is the only porcelain museum in all of Latin American. It has a courtyard, repair and restoration shop, balcony, and a lot of porcelain pieces from all over the world. I did catch a glimpse when I saw the door was opened. Inside, a kind lady informed me that the museum was closed for the moment and to come back later. Later came, but I had promises to keep and miles to go on my next trip.

It's a unique museum. It looked more like someone's home, which I think it was at some point.

It is most likely that many were houses first.
