It is 4/20, and a few citizens were out celebrating this special day because of its historical significance to the city. There used to be large protests in the past, when crowds gathered for the cause of cannabis legalization on this particular day. After legalization, the festivities... err... I mean the protests moved from the art gallery to the beach. Gentle folk gather on the beach to soak up the vibes. Today was no different. It was one of the warmest day we've had in a while with temperatures reaching about 20 deg C (68 F). I was passing near the beach on my way to some non-cannabis related errands when I took this shot at sunset.

Beyond the day... what a beautiful view!! Spectacular!
We're having a warm spell with temps above normal, and the days are getting longer. It was 7:48 PM when I took the picture. 😎
It's still light out here at that time of day!!!
And later in the summer, it will be light until 11 PM and dark until 3 AM, when it begins to get lighter again. It's really neat.
I think it stays light here until 10 pm and then again from 6 am... not bad at all!!
