Lakeshore Magic
Lafarge lake on the periphery of the metro Vancouver area lights up every year with a stunning display of lights that creates a visual extravaganza. It is extensive and full of creative light installations. These are shots from last Christmas' display.

This was one of my favorites. I like the design of these butterflies because it gives a visual break from all the glittering lights. Their large size affect one's sense of scale.

Lilies on the water

I'm too old to feel giddy about Christmas lights, but being surrounded by this electric magic, I was just looking around like wow, man, that's so far out... woe, look at that dragonfly then the mushrooms, wow, hehe.... and so forth.

One can appreciate the scale on this photograph. The designers worked well within the confines of each space.

As you can see, the size of the whole operation is fairly impressive. What a way to brighten up the long days of winter. I have a few more photos, but I think my retinas need a break. So bright! Thank you for visiting.

Imagine a real fantasy world... and I imagined myself walking through it, thank you! It's beautiful!
They had so many creative works there including aliens, dragons, elves, and all kinds of fun themes. It's incredible.
I love it! Especially the elves!😃
