For Victory!
The final weekend of the World Cup is here. All the sights and sounds have been spectacular. I have had the opportunity to take shots from the different venues around the city. This set contains a few random photos that I took throughout the tournament.

BC Place stadium was the home of a few matches. Usually, this red fence is not there and fans can just access the stadium from there. For the WC, fans had to enter from another area that allowed organizers to better secure the perimeter.

The Fairmont Hotel got in on the action with their cool Art Deco-ish bronze statue of a soccer player in midkick. The hotel has a distinct Châteauesque architectural style that is meant to resemble Renaissance-era château from France’s Loire Valle

Small shops also wore their soccer best.

Tomorrow, Argentina battles Spain in a titanic battle. Vamos muchachos!

Columbia house. Why is it so hard to spell COLOMBIA? 🙃

What can I say... Go Argentina!!!

It was not to be this year for Argentina. It was great atmosphere and great game. I hope one day Canada plays Argentina... in the snow :)
Wow, I've never seen a match in the snow!!
