Diana's Splendour

I hunted the moon and-
She unrelenting haunted me back
Across burning skies
And dormant blossoms
Listening to the surf from afar,
Come and go;
Murmuring songs of the fall,
Striking her arrows,
Left imprints of time on the sand.

Ancient moon enchant me now
Send honey and mead.
To bathe in azure pools filled with flowers
That bloomed as we kissed
(We loved and felt bliss!)
On the flickering tide
That comes and subsides
In the warmth of your wondrous beams.

Bright mistress who above the city glides,
Her glass sentinels stand and watch
As she races her steed in the sky
Silently sliding, softly sighing
All seeing
All loving
In the sinuous embrace of the night.

Poetry is a type of art , it is beautiful
I think so too. At least the process of writing feels artistic as one tries to combine language, images, and emotions. Thank you!
The moon fascinates me, it has secrets, it is mysterious and illuminates the night on my walks. That poem is beautiful, thank you!💗
