Este año decidí dejar que la brisa marina renovara mis energías y, sinceramente, fue la mejor decisión para arrancar este 2026 con todo;Mi aventura comenzó con una parada obligatoria en la cinta costera. Ver "El Ojo de La Guaira" recortado contra ese cielo de tonos azulados y nubes viajeras, te hace sentir que estás en un lugar mágico, hay algo en las ferias y las luces que nos devuelve a la infancia, ¿no creen? Es ese recordatorio de que siempre hay tiempo para disfrutar y ver el mundo desde lo alto.

Hello, beautiful people of this community, nothing screams “Carnival” more than the smell of salt air and the sound of waves crashing on the sand. This year, I decided to let the sea breeze renew my energy, and honestly, it was the best decision to start 2026 off with a bang. My adventure began with a mandatory stop at the coastal strip. Seeing “El Ojo de La Guaira” silhouetted against that blue sky and passing clouds makes you feel like you're in a magical place. There's something about fairs and lights that takes us back to our childhood, don't you think? It's a reminder that there's always time to enjoy yourself and see the world from above.

-Pasar el día en la playa es un arte, desde jugar con las sombras en la orilla,hasta simplemente sentarse a ver cómo el agua borra nuestros pasos. Me detuve un momento a escribir "2026" en la arena, un pequeño ritual personal para decretar que este será un año de muchos más viajes y momentos de paz como este; Y claro, ¡el Carnaval no está completo sin el compartir! No hay comida de restaurante de 5 estrellas que supere a un buen ceviche fresco, unas cervezas bien frías y una buena charla frente al mar. Esos son los verdaderos lujos de la vida: la sencillez de un grupo de amigos o familia, una mesa improvisada y el horizonte azul de fondo.

Spending the day at the beach is an art, from playing with shadows on the shore to simply sitting and watching the water wash away our footprints. I paused for a moment to write “2026” in the sand, a small personal ritual to declare that this will be a year of many more trips and peaceful moments like this one. And of course, Carnival isn't complete without sharing! No five-star restaurant meal can beat a good fresh ceviche, a few cold beers, and a good chat by the sea. Those are the true luxuries of life: the simplicity of a group of friends or family, an improvised table, and the blue horizon in the background.
