De un tiempo para acá estamos escuchando más, una palabra ya muy conocida como lo es la “autogestión”. La autogestión nos permite organizarnos bien sea como empresa, como comunidad, en diferentes lugares, buscando un bien común, la mejoría o el sustento.

Lamentablemente este gobierno acostumbró al país a ofrecer todo, y es triste que la sociedad, se acostumbró a las cosas fáciles y recibir regalos, ahora el problema está que este sistema no puede cubrir las necesidades de todos los estados y municipios, deteriorándose así muchas cosas de servicio público.

En este tiempo de lluvia se presenta la problemática del crecimiento de la maleza, el estancamiento de las canales y estancamiento de cloacas. En nuestro país las leyes que deberían cumplirse severamente no está ocurriendo, y el pueblo venezolano ha perdido los valores, ya no cuida al país, no le importa lanzar basura donde se le ocurra, y es por esto que todo está colapsando y tapándose.

Por ejemplo en nuestra comunidad, hay diferentes canales, y todos los días por el grupo de WhatsApp de la Urbanización completa, se ven las distintas quejas sobre la basura, monte dentro de las canales, que cuando llueven casi se desbordan, las cloacas ya se están desbordando también en las calles de los distintos sectores y en las casas. La maleza en los terrenos baldíos ya también han pasado a ser una problemática grande porque sirve para albergar a los delincuentes, para atacar alguna víctima o también han servido como hábitat para culebras y alacranes que terminan entrando en nuestras casas, ya uno anda en cuclillas porque no sabemos en qué momentos nos sorprenda la visita de estos animalitos.

For example in our community, there are different canals, and every day through the WhatsApp group of the entire Urbanization, we see the different complaints about the garbage, mount inside the canals, that when it rains they almost overflow, the sewers are already overflowing also in the streets of the different sectors and in the houses. The weeds in the vacant lots have also become a big problem because they serve as a shelter for criminals, to attack a victim or have also served as a habitat for snakes and scorpions that end up entering our homes, and one is already squatting because we do not know when we will be surprised by the visit of these animals

En la cuadra donde vivo hay un terreno en común con la cuadra de atrás, hemos hecho llamado a la alcaldía para que nos preste el servicio del corte de la maleza, debido a que ellos son los encargados de mantener sin maleza estas áreas comunes, pero lo que nos respondieron es que por la lluvia muchos terrenos está full maleza y no cuentan con varias cuadrillas para atender varios lugares al mismo tiempo, que teníamos que tener paciencia, que ellos nos recomendaban que aplicáramos la autogestión, que como vecinos nos uniéramos y entre todos buscáramos la manera del mantenimiento de ese terreno. Por supuesto, no faltaron los molestos, que dijeron de todos, pero que lamentablemente no aportaron ideas y mucho menos ayuda. Gracias a Dios, algunos vecinos conscientes, decidimos reunirnos para buscar soluciones, sabiendo que la crítica y queja no iban a cambiar la situación, ni por quejarnos no nos iba a resolver la alcaldía.

Por supuesto aquí empieza la odisea, nunca falta el que quiere mandar, pero no colabora en nada. Logramos cuadrar un monto para entre todos contratar a alguien que cortara el monte porque los vecinos no quisieron unirse para cortarlo entre todos. Buscamos varios presupuestos, pero empezó la queja, y nada de recolectar dinero, otros que dijeron que con mucho gusto daban el dinero, pero cuando tocó cobrar se escondían para dar la colaboración, otros que se ofrecieron para cortarlo ellos, ya luego dijeron que lo cortaba pero que debía pagarle, todos estuvimos de acuerdo y todavía estamos esperan que corte el monte.

We looked for several budgets, but the complaint began, and nothing to collect money, others who said they would gladly give the money, but when it was time to collect they hid to give the collaboration, others who offered to cut it themselves, and then said they cut it but had to pay him, we all agreed and we are still waiting for him to cut the bush

Nos ha costado conseguir a alguien porque no terminamos de recolectar el dinero gracias a estas personas que “no lavan ni prestan la batea”, que no ayudan, pero les encanta entorpecer el trabajo de los demás, aquellos vecinos que ofrecen pagar 10$ como dando alarde de que tienen dinero y en el momento de recolectar el dinero, pues, ni un dólar terminan dando. Otros vecinos prefieren pagar 10$ por mandar a contar su pedacito de terreno que da a su casa, eso es triste, pero bueno existe de todo y también es valido.

Pero, todo esto, me lleva a la reflexión, recuerdo en tiempos de antes existía el sentido común, sentido de pertenencia, me acuerdo cuando me mudé a esta casa, entre todos pintábamos las aceras, cortábamos la maleza, arreglábamos algún hueco que se hiciera en la calle, adornábamos los postes en diciembre, colocábamos adornos navideños en las aceras, en fin, no voy a decir que éramos todos amigos, pero sí, que éramos capaces de entender que hacer algo en conjunto es por el beneficio de todos y no de cada quien individualmente o de un grupo especial, realmente éramos VECINOS. Recuerdo que antes no podían ver que estaban limpiando un terreno ya nos catalogaban de que queríamos un cargo político. De vez en cuando es bueno pagar a la naturaleza todas sus bondades con mantenimiento, seamos amables con ella, siempre nos da lo mejor y sin pedir nada a cambio

De verdad que no podemos forzar a algunos vecinos, pero la gran mayoría dijo que si y todo quedará bonito, con el favor de Dios. Sigo recogiendo el dinero para reponerlo, ya saben destapamos un hueco para tapar dos huecos; nuestro terreno quedó hermoso. Pensé que cortando la maleza y podando los arboles, los vecinos verían el resultado y se animarían a colaborar, pero debemos seguir marcando la diferencia.
