Hola amigos, en el día de hoy les contaré sobre la experiencia de esta semana que concluyó. Desde el lunes pasado comenzamos con los exámenes prácticos estatales de la Especialidad de MGI.

First I will explain to you that the specialty of General and Integral Medicine is the fundamental pillar of our health system, designed to prevent illness.

Primeramente les explicaré que la especialidad de Medicina General e Integral es el pilar fundamental de nuestro sistema de salud, diseñado para prevenir.

This branch of medicine is dedicated to studying the health-disease process of individuals, their families and in the community.

Esta rama de la medicina se dedica a estudiar el proceso salud - enfermedad de los individuos,sus familias y en la comunidad.

Years ago it was designed to be carried out in 3 years of studies, the main task of these specialists is to achieve from primary health care the prevention of diseases and avoid the increase in morbidity and mortality of the same, for that he must provide many educational talks, apply intervention strategies to modify the lifestyles of the communities and increase the level of knowledge of individuals.

Hace años se diseñó para realizarse en 3 años de estudios, la labor principal de estos especialistas es lograr desde la atención primaria de salud la prevención de las enfermedades y evitar el aumento de la morbilidad y mortalidad de las mismas, para eso debe brindar muchas charlas educativas, aplicar estrategias de intervenciones para modificar los estilos de vida de las comunidades y aumentar el nivel de conocimientos de individuos.

In this specialty, it should be known about the use of Natural and Traditional Medicine because in each consultation they must carry out health promotion and indicate this alternative medicine in conjunction with the appropriate therapy.

En esta especialidad, se debe conocer el uso de la Medicina Natural y Tradicional porque en cada consulta deben realizar promoción de la salud e indicar esta medicina alternativa en conjunto con la terapia adecuada.

The MGI must have knowledge about the rest of the specialties similar to an Internal Medicine specialist with the difference that he must know how the environment influences the patient and is not limited only to the sick organism but to everything that surrounds him and can affect health.

El MGI debe tener conocimientos sobre el resto de las especialidades similar a un especialista de Medicina Interna con la diferencia de que éste debe conocer cómo influye el medio ambiente en el paciente y no se circunscribe solo al organismo enfermo si no a todo lo que le rodea y puede afectar a la salud.

The MGI is in charge of complying with all the programs designed in our health system for the management of diseases, they should carry out investigations aimed at the early diagnosis of these pathologies, indicate treatment and follow-up of sick patients to evaluate evolution and avoid complications and / or disabilities.

This week, as I mentioned at the beginning, two students took their promotion exams, which ended with excellent results.

Among the aspects that the court evaluated were, the skills in the medical interview, the performance of the appropriate physical examination, the realization of a correct nosological diagnosis and the appropriate therapeutic behavior according to the diagnosis of the disease made.
