De vez en cuando, el alma nos pide un descanso. Es una necesidad vital: detener el paso, soltar las preocupaciones y buscar ese refugio donde el tiempo parece ir más despacio. Para mí, no existe mejor medicina que el contacto con la naturaleza y el calor de un momento compartido en familia. Esos instantes, entre el agua de la piscina y las risas que compartimos, son los que realmente le dan sentido a todo lo demás.

From time to time, the soul asks us for a break. It is a vital necessity: to stop, let go of worries, and seek that refuge where time seems to slow down. For me, there is no better medicine than being in touch with nature and the warmth of a moment shared with family. Those instants, between the pool water and the laughter we share, are what truly give meaning to everything else.
Creo firmemente que compartir en familia es el acto más valioso que podemos regalarnos; es ahí donde construimos los recuerdos que nos mantienen en pie. Hoy quiero invitarles a ver un poco de ese respiro que viví recientemente. Más que fotos, esto es una pequeña ventana a un día donde lo único importante fue estar presentes, disfrutar de la vegetación y celebrar la dicha de estar juntos.

I firmly believe that sharing time with family is the most valuable gift we can give ourselves; it is there that we build the memories that keep us going. Today, I want to invite you to see a little bit of that breather I experienced recently. More than just photos, this is a small window into a day where the only thing that mattered was being present, enjoying the vegetation, and celebrating the joy of being together.
Sesión de fotos espontánea:
En uno de los mesones de la finca, encontré el sombrero de mi prima y, bueno... ¡tenía que probar cómo me quedaba! Fue una de esas travesuras del momento que terminaron en una sesión de fotos espontánea.
Siento que solo me faltó ponerme unos lentes. Jajaja

Spontaneous photo session:
On one of the farm's tables, I found my cousin's hat and, well... I just had to see how it looked on me! It was one of those spur-of-the-moment antics that turned into a spontaneous photo session. I feel like the only thing I was missing was a pair of sunglasses. Hahaha.
La experiencia del fogón:
Lo que hizo que este día fuera realmente inolvidable fue la combinación de momentos. Entre los chapuzones y las risas que compartimos, llegó el momento más esperado: disfrutar de una rica sopa preparada por mi tío y su esposa. No hay comparación posible; cocinarla en un fogón de leña le otorga un sabor único, ahumado y especial, que ninguna cocina convencional podría replicar. Fue el centro de nuestra reunión, ese instante en el que todos nos satamos alrededor de los platos, conversando y disfrutando del calor del fuego, sintiéndonos conectados en la sencillez de una comida hecha con tanto cariño. Fue un recordatorio de que, a veces, los placeres más grandes están en esos sabores que nos regresan a lo auténtico.

The wood-fire experience:
What made this day truly unforgettable was the combination of moments. Between the swims and the laughter we shared, the most awaited moment arrived: enjoying a delicious soup prepared by my uncle and his wife. There is no comparison; cooking it over a wood fire gives it a unique, smoky, and special flavor that no conventional stove could ever replicate. It was the center of our gathering, that moment when we all sat around our bowls, chatting and enjoying the warmth of the fire, feeling connected in the simplicity of a meal made with so much love. It was a reminder that, sometimes, the greatest pleasures are found in those flavors that bring us back to what is authentic.
A veces no hace falta salir muy lejos para encontrar la felicidad; a veces, solo hace falta el calor de un fogón, el agua de una piscina y la compañía correcta. Hoy cierro este capítulo de mi semana con el corazón agradecido, consciente de que estos instantes son los que realmente valen la pena atesorar. Me encantaría saber: ¿qué detalle hizo que su semana fuera un poquito más especial?

Sometimes, you don't need to go very far to find happiness; sometimes, all you need is the warmth of a wood fire, the water of a pool, and the right company.
