War, Hubert the flower, our cats & light travel
Zimba in my room
I had Zimba sitting on my chest when doing the last editing on these images, but now he has moved to my feet. He is such a great cat to have around, giving off this very calming effect on me...
Which is a really good thing now that things are going even more insane back where this body was born...
Where to even begin... Well, its not really a topic here and for this type of content, but all of this testing is relevant in one way: I need to prepare for a wild tour where anything can happen, and where I will publish as I go along.
I've written about how I manage things from a certain perspective here:

Hubert the flower in a good mood
So, the latest news & testing is that I found the Olymus OM 50/1.4 and 135/2.8 in my luggage, along with the adapter for the Fujifilm cameras! I thought I left those in the trusted guesthouse in Kathmandu...
That makes it much easier to travel light, regardless of where I'll be going!
The 50mm also makes Hubert look good, I'll miss that flower along with all our cats here of course...
Cat dojo
Our white copycats that come from different mothers decided to join me, which led to some testing of the 50mm, which of course is manual focus only since its from the old OM line from Olympus.
It kinda worked, I might have lost some shots due to the lack of autofocus, but from the testing today I think I'll be able to compensate for that. Maybe it will even be more effective than the Sony...
Zelda
Zelda is little grumpy as usual... Of course she has some reasons for that since she lost her only kitten a while ago...
I really don't know how to treat her, constantly she wants better food, but once she actually gets that she wont't eat. Its probably got something to do with hierarchy.
Lately she has been less vocal, though, so maybe I'm doing something right?
Leica is dreaming
Leica is a character. He is still a big, obese cat even after we kinda figured out what makes him insecure, and also he doesn't dare resist when Mr. B. the alien, black cat invades our house.
I guess that he is still a big kitten, once he makes it to cat teenage age he might turn into a real tiger hehe...
He does show some instinct towards guarding our gate now and then, so that is good!
Talking about that, after living with all these cats I feel very inclined to taking on the knowledge coming from Edgar Cacey, the sleeping prophet, who explained that cats can take on roles of protecting their owners on spiritual levels.
That sort of thing belongs to what I'm talking these days, I'll simply post those on my blog here for now.
My media weapon?
The spiral of pure madness that is happening now... Well I won't go into any details here, other than that I've both had a gut feeling about it all and also tried warning others way back to even around 89...
So even though I'm a very dedicated non-violent, Buddhist wannabe I've still got to handle all of that. Which is where a good workflow & light, dependable tools is key!
And in some ways that also is something I feel I learn more about from our cats: to live with, and thrive within uncertainty 🙂
That's it for now!
