Migrating to Linux for real! I have arrived :-)

After decades of at least some dependence on closed source I'm now able to do everything that I need on Linux and a set of open source

The usual preamble goes on until around 9:30, skip that if you want to check out the tools only. Context is highly relevant though, especially now that AI will change everything once it gets around to this sort of thing!

My main tools mentioned here are now GIMP, Pinta, Rawtherapee, Losslesscut, FFMPEG, Winff and OBS studio, all on Linux Mint :-)

I've tried twice to watch the video, it crashes... this is annoying...

but.. btw, I'm also a linux user. It can be cumbersome at times, but honestly, its worth it. No more viruses to worry about.

I'll upload it to YT now, will post a link in a few minutes!

For me it has been kinda like forcing myself to go against traffic in a big Asian city, all the alarm bells go off, all my reflexes are triggered!

Actually no, in REAL life that is just fun & I did it a minute ago hahaha ;-)

Digital habits are hard to break anyway...
