Our banana tree!

Everything here is of course very different from having a garden in a Northern climate, and everything grows very rapidly!

The past couple of years I have been cutting down & weeding out the banana trees in the back yard, gradually moving them all to the middle by cutting it that way. Don’t think we’ll ever get real, edible bananas, but who knows, I have left organic refuse at the trunks when I have had the opportunity :-)

Oh, and this is how the front garden looked after leaving the old house alone for maybe a couple of months:

Currently we have workers redoing the bathroom, there will be lots of work for me in the garden soon, will keep you posted!
