Fungifriday || The beautiful red mushrooms grow in oil palm plantations
Good evening everyone βπ
This is my contribution to the #fungifriday contest hosted by @ewkaw
This morning under the cloudy sky and cool atmosphere I decided to go around the palm oil plantation that I just planted to control the growth of the plants, and this is a habit that I often do on Fridays because I have free time and not a busy schedule for my work, I chose to go in the morning because the weather is cool and I can also breathe fresh morning air, besides that I can also feel the distinctive aroma of the soil, enjoy the dew that is still stuck to the leaves, this is something that increases my passion throughout the day.
Actually about five days ago I had done fertilization to utilize the soil moisture due to rain, and thankfully the oil palm leaves that I planted looked fresh with a dark green color, I was almost an hour in the garden to take a closer look at each oil palm plant, I went around from corner to corner and all my feet were wet from being splashed with dew that stuck to the grass, this was not a problem at all and even made my feet feel very relaxed, the natural coolness that I got from the morning dew was a blessing from the universe that could not be described in words.
when I was in one corner of the garden, then my eyes fell on a red object that was visible through the gaps in the grass and it caught my attention to check, at first I didn't think that my morning trip to the garden would find something so beautiful and fascinate me, I didn't want to be curious and then I decided to check what I had just seen through the gaps in the grass, how amazed I was because what I had just seen was a very beautiful species of mushroom with a bright red color, and honestly this was the first time I found this red mushroom growing in my garden.
I picked them from where they grow and put them on a slightly higher place, I really wanted to observe them from a very close distance, these mushrooms really stand out from their surroundings because their red color is very bright, and as you can see in the picture where the entire mushroom is filled with bright red color and only a little bit of faded yellow at the base of the mushroom, I wonder about their growing process, are these mushrooms growing thanks to the fertilizer that I sprinkle for the oil palm? or are they growing on moist soil with little organic matter, this really makes me confused to make a decision about their growing method, if you have specific information about this then feel free to share your knowledge with me.
Here are some photos that I have captured for you, and the condition of the photos is not bright because I took the photos in the morning with a cloudy atmosphere.
Thank you very much for visiting my mushroom blog today, see you in the next #fungifriday post with a different mushroom portrait, happy Friday & have a nice day πππ₯°π₯°
