Beautiful mushroom "Pycnoporus" with its distinctive color charm

Hi everyone

Today I want to show you all one of the beautiful mushroom species that comes from the "genus Pycnoporus" or they are often considered as wood rotting fungi, and that thought is true considering that I found mushrooms of the genus Pycnoporus growing on one of the trees that have long died and are now in the decomposition phase which will later turn into important organic material in the surrounding environment, these beautiful mushrooms have a hard fruiting body shape and they grow by attaching themselves to the dead wood substrate.

From several articles that I have read, I have found the fact that the existence of these fungi is very important considering that they have a longer lifespan so the decomposition process takes a long time, as a result the decomposition process carried out by these fungi will return nutrients to the soil which become the source of nutrition for various types of plants, both cultivated plants and wild plants which are natural habitats for various wild animals such as insects, lizards and others.

If you are a mushroom hunter, maybe this mushroom is familiar to you, considering that they are easy to find and especially if you live in a tropical climate like our country, Indonesia, even though they are easy to find, there is an interesting side to this mushroom so that they are worth immortalizing, their uniqueness lies in their amazing color, if you are in the forest and are completely surrounded by green leaves, the presence of this beautiful mushroom with its distinctive orange color charm will automatically amaze you.
