Warm nights under the skies

In terms of temperatures, the nights that I am going to visually describe here were not warm at all. At that part of the year, the central parts of Italy, and the region of Tuscany, more specifically, the most of the nights are usually cold. Sometimes, very cold.

However, when I wrote the word "warm" in the title of that post, I meant the general sensation I've got when we, myself and a friend, were enjoying the beauty that the night lights "paint" at and over the places we visited.

Usually when I travel abroad, taking and making photos is my first priority. So wandering outdoors in the nights around here wasn't any exception. However, there were other goals too. To "dip" into the Italian culture, traditions, nature, cuisine too.

I took a few of my favorite night long-exposure pictures precisely after some local wine and cheese tasting experiences.

Check this out:

That small paved square is the home of one of the wine shops selling one of the best red wines I have ever tasted in my life. The famous Brunello.

If any Italian reads this I hope that I am writing about Brunello correctly.

What impressed me deeply was that the locals use two separate phrases for "Brunello" and "red wine" - "vino rosso".

Thus they clearly and loudly make that distinction, stating that Brunello is way above any other red wine.

And based on the few wine tasting sessions we had there, I fully agree! :)

Here is my second most favorite night photograph I took after another wine tasting experience:

... just a few meters away from the tables we were sitting at, minutes ago, happily changing those large glasses with the precious ruby liquids :)

I can say for sure, even without any wine in the blood, the nights there are amazingly beautiful.

This may seem a picture taken during the day but actually the sky here is almost white, under a lightning storm. In fact, I took that one below shortly before midnight.

Getting some warmth in front of the fire place that night was indescribably pleasant.

When there is no rain, I better be outside, enjoying the views.

It is a "wow" scene, isn't it?

The Moon, sending compliments and adding moods to my visual memories...

The narrow, stone paved streets, roads, alleys and paths.

Magically lighted by the artistic street lamps.

My friend here, enchanted by all this charm around, capturing her own memories to share later with her friends...

And when my feet and legs start to hurt from that almost constant walking around, it is time to sit down and have a good book. Totally free. The only thing necessary is the desire to read:

One pathway, waiting for its pedestrians and more Tuscan nights, waiting for my wandering eyes and soul...

The moon looks beautiful, and I was impressed with all the photos. And your second favorite photo is my first favorite photo of all the ones I saw, although it was a little hard to decide between one, but it certainly looks beautiful.
