Spirits of Rhodopes

Rhodopes is one of the biggest and longest mountains in my country.

I love exploring it in Black and White, allowing me to focus on the shapes, the spirits and sometimes on the ghosts :)

Starting with a long-exposure photograph of one friend of mine, entering a cave in this beautiful mountain, full of amazing places to take landscape pictures!

That mountain also keeps the secrets of abandoned establishments and forest ghosts...

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

Very interesting post and also your analysis about what colorful pictures show and what black and white does, is awesome. That’s true. The message is different.

Your photos are very deep!!
