Rome wasn't built in a day

That danceable song keeps spinning in my head today, so probably a good reminder to share more photos from one of our trips to beautiful Italy, and its capital, the Eternal City, Rome.

By the way, you could scroll down if you want to listen it too, I shared the URL to a wonderful life performance by Morcheeba. That piece is old but gold, as they say. It will make you dance, I promise :P

So here are a few of my travel photographs from The City, and Black and White suits them perfectly.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

You are kindly invited and more than welcome to join "The Photographic Society" Community on HIVE here: @hive-142821, where photographers and enthusiasts share not only their works but also discuss concepts and techniques, and also some hot topics and news about our favorite art.

Hello @lightcaptured

Man ,it's so amazing how black & white photos can jump out and grab a person. As if Rome is not a Beautiful place to start.
The video was very good also. I like that song. I haven't heard of her/ this band

Well in any case, Morcheeba is very, very good! I only hope that they can get picked up by an American producer. That would be Big 💰💰

We've done a number of city trips my wife and I. Rome is one of the cities we could go back to again and again. So far there are only a few places like that which have had a lasting impact on us.

Fantastic photos!
