PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography

avatar

I haven't posted any street photos in a while. Probably because I don't have many street photos that I truly like. However, sometimes there are moments that absolutely attract my attention.

Like that moment below where a young man was provoking the police forces at the biggest square of Siena, Italy. Lying on the paved ground and yelling at the police.

I waited here a lot for something to happen but I suppose those policemen knew the guy because they didn't "buy" his behavior and nothing more happened and after a few more minutes, the man stood up and left somewhere in a slow gait...

As you can see, it was a busy day, plenty of people around, locals and tourists and some people, happy to be self-sufficient...

Sometimes the same streets could be so colorful, right?

I'd say that some people have the eye for it. I don't consider myself one of them :D

I thought the guy on the first picture was being captured by the police 😅😅. Did you used the 70-200mm lens for all of those photos? It has nice compression on the photos.

Initially I thought the same but nothing happened after all. Nope, I used another lens, the focal length is 100mm, full frame.

I see, the 100mm focal length makes a good compression on the background while still giving it some 'distance space' feeling to the photos and it produce a very sharp image with great contrast. Love it!
