I'm not sure where you are located but if it was in South Australia, I'd say that the flower is Solanum elaeagnifolium or Silverleaf Nightshade. It's a gorgeous plant but unfortunately, toxic. If it's not that one, its definitely a Solanum of some sort so your search should begin there.

Thanks, you nailed it. I've already destroyed all I could find there, because there are 3 small children there!

Knowledge is power, and someone had sent me this link on blurt; but only two including you knew what it is! You guys protected those kids, and you have my thanks.
👍💗🤕🤠
No worries! Solanaceae is a huge Family form which many of our usual foods comes but there are so many members that many are toxic. I'm glad your kids are safe!
I was trying to try to I.D. this plant, for possible food or herbal use. Too toxic to be usable, even though it is a cousin to a potato. Strange how that works out, LOL.
👍💗🤠😆
Solanums are tough and prolific, so we've learned to breed the good parts that are edible.
I'll use other weeds that are safer, but I'm glad you guys are getting some good use out of this plant! Be careful and be blessed.
👍🤠💗🙏
