The Carlos Condell Plaza, located in the heart of Olmué, represents a significant achievement both for the community and for me personally. When I worked in the Municipality of Olmué, I had the privilege of being part of the design team that brought this space to life. The process was complex and challenging, but the clear vision of creating a place that would promote coexistence and recreation for the neighbors motivated us to move forward.
The project began with a series of community consultations, where we gathered ideas and suggestions from residents. We wanted the plaza to reflect the needs and desires of those who would use it. We incorporated elements of the local flora to maintain a connection to the natural environment and designed play areas for children, seating areas for adults and open spaces for events.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Carlos Condell Plaza, already built and in full use. It was an extremely gratifying experience. The plaza has not only beautified downtown Olmué, but has also strengthened the sense of community among the residents.
Plaza Carlos Condell is more than an urban planning project; it is a testament to the teamwork and collaboration between the Municipality and the residents of Olmué. Having contributed to its design and now seeing its positive impact on the community reaffirms my commitment to urban development and the importance of creating spaces that promote quality of life. This project will always hold a special place in my career and in my heart.

La Plaza Carlos Condell, ubicada en el corazón de Olmué, representa un logro significativo tanto para la comunidad como para mí en lo personal. Cuando trabajaba en la Municipalidad de Olmué, tuve el privilegio de formar parte del equipo de diseño que dio vida a este espacio. El proceso fue complejo y desafiante, pero la visión clara de crear un lugar que promoviera la convivencia y la recreación de los vecinos nos motivó a seguir adelante.
El proyecto comenzó con una serie de consultas a la comunidad, donde recopilamos ideas y sugerencias de los residentes. Queríamos que la plaza reflejara las necesidades y deseos de quienes la utilizarían. Incorporamos elementos de la flora local para mantener una conexión con el entorno natural y diseñamos áreas de juegos para niños, zonas de descanso para adultos y espacios abiertos para eventos.
Recientemente, tuve la oportunidad de visitar la Plaza Carlos Condell ya construida y en pleno uso. Fue una experiencia sumamente gratificante. La plaza no solo ha embellecido el centro de Olmué, sino que también ha fortalecido el sentido de comunidad entre los habitantes.
La Plaza Carlos Condell es más que un proyecto urbanístico; es un testimonio del trabajo en equipo y la colaboración entre la Municipalidad y los residentes de Olmué. Haber contribuido a su diseño y ver ahora su impacto positivo en la comunidad reafirma mi compromiso con el desarrollo urbano y la importancia de crear espacios que promuevan la calidad de vida. Este proyecto siempre ocupará un lugar especial en mi carrera y en mi corazón.
