Friar (Amauris niavius)

Hello beautiful people. This is my first time posting here hope am welcomed?

Going to work this morning, i saw this two beautiful butterflies.
The image shows two butterflies of the genus Amauris, likely Amauris niavius, also known as the Friar or Cleric butterfly, engaged in mating.

The act depicted, often referred to as "pairing" or "in copula," is a crucial part of the butterfly's life cycle, ensuring the continuation of the species. This was actually the reason why i could capture them. On a normal day, before i could come close to take a picture, off the flies away.
