A time to harvest: African Bush mango (Irvingia gabonensis) or wide Mango.
Irvingia gabonensis is an African tree or plant sometimes known by the common names wild mango, African mango, or bush mango. They bear edible mango-like fruits which is green in colour and are especially valued for their fat- and protein-rich nuts. It is rich in nutrients, including vitamins A and C.
While making research on this African mango, i was so surprised to the fact that it is use to treat diarrhea, fever, and pain and it is also used to treat diabetes and high cholesterol levels. One of the most significant benefits of African bush mango is its ability to aid in weight loss.
This ones are so big compared to some the sell in the market here.
After plugging them, i packed them in a bag and went home. My dad don't joke with this as he loves it and sometimes take them to his workshop to give his friends.
benefits of Africa mango seeds
The seeds offer various health benefits, including promoting weight loss, lowering cholesterol, and potentially managing diabetes.
You can also use this to prepare a Very delicious ogbono soup, a popular soup here in Nigeria. If incase you are one of those who don't like ogbono soup as my sister, you can sell it in the market. Thats a huge money.
