Dried Flowers and Red Beetles Under a Cloudy Sky
It was 3 p.m. and the weather was very cloudy and cold, and the wind blowing made me feel calm. Now the rainy season had arrived. The past few days had rained every day, making the rice fields damp and watery. I grabbed my sweater and started my motorbike to look for mushrooms in the straw piles in the rice fields.
I walked along the rice paddy embankment, observing the scenery around me. There were many livestock in the fields, but I ignored them and continued towards my destination.
I saw a small red beetle perched on a plant growing around the rice field area.
Some of the weed branches had dried up, but some of the branches still had very beautiful flowers attached.

The clouds were already very overcast and dark, just waiting for the rain to fall, I took some photos of these dry plants that were still flowering.
There are so many weeds growing on the rice field embankments. One of them is the plant I photographed here.
Some of the flowers are still blooming with their tiny white hairs.
Only the twigs that have started to dry out remain.
The stems and flowers have started to dry out, but this tiny plant still looks beautiful.
Some of the flowers on this branch are still in bud, but I only see a few leaves on some of the branches.
The last photo is a photo of dried rice belonging to local residents due to crop failure due to the dry season.
