Klasse Gärtnern Auf der Hive Blockchain " Festliche Pfingstrosenblüte "
Hallo, liebe Hive Gemeinschaft
Hello, dear Hive community
Undemanding and long-lived
Today we continue with a straggler.
The other plants in her genus have almost faded and now my second peony is really coming into its own.
Peonies have been widespread in China for thousands of years and are said to be not only visually pleasing, but were also used as medicine.
In Europe, they were found in the Mediterranean in ancient times and the Benedictine monks brought them over the Alps to Central Europe.
From monastery gardens it quickly found its way into home gardens.
Due to its long cultural history, a high symbolic value is attributed to the peony.
Peonies already appear in medieval panel painting, as they stand for wealth, healing, healing and beauty in Christian symbolic language.
In Chinese garden art, the peony is a symbol of wealth, a pledge of love, a woman's life filled with love and the meekness of Buddha.
