Trying the roasted pork for $1 in a newly opened restaurant in the neighborhood.

Since I could go out with Caleb alone, it's been our routine to dine out in local food kiosks or restaurants here. Mostly, we would try the newly opened.
One afternoon upon going out I saw soot particles in our porch. At first, I thought someone burned leaves. Only to find out there was a grass fire not that far but also not too near from our home. That explains why I'd been hearing helicopter sounds. Which I thought there was a drill (there is a military airbase nears us.)
)Turns out it was actually carrying water to help control the fire. My son Caleb upon seeing was so awed that he doesn't want to get inside.
He kept on bubbling and telling me some words which I could not understand yet. So, I just decided to go out and try the newly opened resto in our place with roasted meats/pig as specialty.
While walking Caleb would run, shouting in happiness everytime the helicopter passed by.

Paldo - the restaurant name was designed for alfresco dining. The table and chairs were arranged with an umbrella as a canopy. The floor wasn't cemented but with stones flatten so it won't be muddy.

It was self service, you need to order at the counter and then wait to claim it afterwards. Condiments and other needs are all in one corner. Just help yourself.
)
)Infairness with Caleb, I could leave him now for a while on the table to get our order and other needs. I trained him even at home to wait if I am doing something. There are times he would just sit down and patiently wait but there are also times he won't.

So this is the $1 roasted pig meal.
Was it delicious?
As someone who grew up in the province, the roasted pig taste was far from delicious. Yet, for the prize of $1 it was somehow acceptable.
)
)For my son, I bought him a grilled hotdog. As a typical toddler he would offer his food to everything he sees, could be to a lizard, his toys and even to a light with an electric fan hanging.
As a first time Mom, this made me stretch my patience. Came to a point that I had to offer a spoonful of food to non-living things so he would eat.
Pretend play which is part of his development.
After this we go home and here comes the problem. Caleb was too lazy to walk on his own so I need to carry him. That was about a 10-15 minutes of walk. When I arrived home, now I am starving again!
Caleb became the model of that kiosk😬.
If me I would offer the food to myself if he don't want to eat 😌😌
Sometimes him seeing me eating food doesn't even bother him 🤣
Thank you
I'm happy to see that now you've a company with you to go out 😉

You have spent your happy times with children in an interesting way. We also have such an interesting airbase in Bangladesh. Here we can see the plane directly. I also like to eat beef, chicken or other dishes with white rice. Thank you for enjoying your interesting time.
Oh you're from Bangladesh?
Ah, same, rice is life
