The advancement of technologies found some stored photos from my last vacation.

I was busy deleting stored photos on my laptop when I opened a folder named Guimaras Memories. This is where I kept all the photos I took the last time I went home for a vacation. It was September last year.
This was taken at the airport as I was already returning to Manila. Since I am living on an Island, the nearest was Iloilo airport. Since it has international flights, I was used to seeing the whole area busy. Passengers go back and forth while processing their documents; some buy presents like native delicacies for their loved ones.
Yet, it was the opposite at that time. Some shops were already closed, like this gift and coffee shop. It was not like before, even in the waiting area for boarding passengers! A lot of empty seats.
However, one shop was strong and still operating the JD Bakeshop. It was a well-known shop in Iloilo serving bread and pastries, short orders like pasta, and even delicious Ilonggo dishes. One that indeed had an authentic taste was ginat-an, also known as bilo-bilo in Tagalog.

Ginat-an or bilo-bilo was made with grind glutenous rice, coconut milk, banana slices, sweet potato, grated coconuts, ube, sago, and sugar to your liking.
I seldom eat ginat-an unless cooked by my Father (he was a great cook), but I could guarantee that JD's version was also superb.
Whenever I went home, I would always drop by here and eat and take out for my friends in Manila. Of course, I wanted to flex it.
